The second time I really go all out for cookin’ and it’s another success… no one got food poisoning. (nor have they ever) Went out to the “sto” last night along with a few other errands. Doctor still won’t give me a damn note to return to work… his “wait and see” approach is killing me financially… that’s why I have another appointment with a different doctor tomorrow, err, this morning at 10am. O:-) Anywho, yesterday was great. Went to the post office and then by work to speak with Yvonne, hopefully everything will be back to normal on Monday. After leaving work I drove down to Silver Spring and stopped by the Giant to pick up everything I needed. Did you know that spices are expensive?! Geez! They need to make individual use portions… like for $0.50. Oh well…

I bought stuff to make dessert as well, but somebody didn’t want any, so I just ate the ice cream. Good stuff. But all in all I was quite proud of myself, everything came out quite nicely. Other than that not much went on… woke up to a voicemail of my puppy whining, that was lovely. Well, I think I shall take my ass to bed… it’s already 1.30 and I have to be up for this doctor’s appointment. Hopefully I’ll have the house to myself so I can get some cleaning done. Hope everyone is sleeping well… g’night.

OK, so the past 4 days have been AWESOME, to say the least.

Apparently I can cook… Sunday night I made grilled salmon, marinaded in a ginger sauce, and then for dessert I made fried bananas and strawberry ice cream. Everything tasted so good, if I do say so myself. I couldn’t get everything that I wanted to cook though. Instead of going to a real grocery store, we went to a po-dunk Super Walmart to get everything. I couldn’t find the spice I needed so I settled for just the ground ginger. I forgot to get string beans too, but I was full after the salmon and mashed potatoes, so I don’t think I would have been able to eat them. Later on that night we watched Queen of the Damned. What a great movie. I thought it was going to be scary but it wasn’t. Interresting plot though.

Monday morning was absoultely great. Didn’t roll out of bed until around 3 in the afternoon. LOL. But it’s all good. I went to the Grotto with Zach, then we went to eat at Chi-Chi’s. Not the best choice *cough cough* Zach *cough* lol… just kidding. It was good. Haven’t been there in a while. Anywho, Erin came over that night and we did some drinking. Erin called her mom and told her that she was spending the night and actually managed to hold a conversation with her mom while she was drunk. LOL. I got pretty tipsy, and Zach only had a small buzz. Erin decided that it was best if she just slept by the toilet, lol, but we eventually moved her into Zach’s bed. Good times.

Tuesday was a lot of running around. Thanks Zach for coming with me. I had to get bloodwork done, pick up my paycheck, and stop by work. So we spent most of the day in Baltimore. Tuesday night we watched Angel Eyes and then got some sleep. Unfortunately I had to go back to work today, even though I didn’t take one table it was still a pain. Tomorrow, though, I will be there all day and night. I just hope I make a decent amount of money. I really need it.
