I made it! Whew!

Drove into Las Vegas around 8.30p Wednesday evening and it’s been non-stop ever since. Supposed to be going out to Krave in a few but still waiting on Dustin to call so I’m not there waiting alone like the wallflower I tend to be sometimes… ok ok most of the time. I’m thoroughly exhausted. After getting in Wednesday evening, I went straight to bed after carting all my stuff in from the car. Early to bed, early to rise. And that’s just what I did. 6a I was up and off to the office. Went and had lunch with Dustin and then basically took the rest of the day off. LOL. Stopped by Walmart and spent over $200 in stuff that I had either left behind, or was in need of obtaining. Then spent the rest of the night relaxing but couldn’t get to bed ’til around 2a. Woke up Friday with a jolt at 7am… thankfully there weren’t any emergencies at work. Spent the day working diligently to get caught up from being out the previous week. Still not caught up all the way, but I’ll get there eventually.

Slept in today but went to the LVAC and signed up. I’m really hoping to get (and keep) myself motivated to go to the gym on a regular basis. Maybe then I can finally get my weight above 125 (seriously). Then I trekked to the Las Vegas DMV to get my Nevada license. I was sure my bum eye (no I don’t really have a bum eye… does go fuzzy sometimes tho) was going to fuck up and I swear the guy who administered the vision test passed me anyway because we were chatting about his cross-country travels (3x worth). Hey - making new friends isn’t limited to my generation. :) In any case… I got my license… with only 4 questions wrong on the written test… Woohoo! After that, went and hung out at the Platinum Hotel Pool with some new friends of which should join us tonight at the club. Met up with Dustin again this evening for Movie Under the Stars and ended up falling asleep. I could for sure sleep outdoors out here… it’s the perfect temperature at night.

I suppose that’s all for the moment… headin’ out to shake it… gonna need lots of RedBull. :-D

Woo! Look at that pointy gay hair! Welcome to your new home, I wish we gotten a chance to meet while you were in town, but it just wasn’t in the cards. :)
