Philadelphia

Bill & I made it up to Philly this past weekend for BlueBall. We decided to drive up Friday night (instead of Saturday morning) and ended up making last call at Bump. It was great to get away from the area for a little bit - and hopefully I got a better idea of the area than my last drunken time in Philly. We hung out a bit on Saturday, got breakfast, went to 12th Street Gym… then I believe we started drinking around 4p. Hung out at Bump and then Bump again LOL. I turned in around 12a and Bill didn’t end up getting back til around 6am! But he certainly had a good time, as did I. :)

Speaking of Philadelphia, just finished watched the movie. Can you say ‘wow’?! What a strong and moving film. I just couldn’t help but ball my eyes out toward the end. I was done. Tom Hanks does a wonderful job and although inspired by a true story, I think it’s a very truthful representation of the reactions to someone with AIDS. If you haven’t seen this movie yet - I highly recommend you do! Gay, or not, this is something that affects us all in some way, shape, or form and it’s important for everyone to realize what’s happening in the world.
