Pet Peeve :: Talking During TV/Movie/Play/etc

OK - so we’re going to start a little pet peeve column on here - when ever I notice something that pisses the fuck out of me - I’ll post it.

First issue of the Pet Peeve column is Talking During TV, Movie, Play, etc. I’m sitting here on the couch watching TV and my roommate comes in and starts talking to me - during the show! I can understand during the commericals or between shows - but during the show is just ignorant and annoying. This goes for movies or plays or any other type of program/entertainment. I snapped at him for it this time - I just said “I’m watching a show - I can’t talk to you at the same time.” Then I explained why I snapped later - I just can’t divide my attention during Heroes. Seriously. Seriously.
