What a night! HAPPY GREEN BEER DAY!!!! 
Rich & Chris can sure throw a party! Drove down to Van Dorn last night and met some really awesome people! I can't wait for the next one. Went to the 9:30 club for a bit after and kinda regretted going... I had stopped drinking and had a tiny anxiety attack and wanted to leave... well, no cab goes to Van Dorn - at least not the ones that night - and it was already past 3 so the metro was closed. Soooo... I froze my ass off for a bit waiting for Jeremy (thank you) to drive down from Baltimore (THANK you) and take me to my car in Van Dorn (THANK YOU!!!!!). I finally got home at 5.30am; but it was certainly worth it. What a blast! Thankfully Justin talked with me while I drove home - I was exhausted after that night and the drive home was a long one... but it was good to catch up with him and talk about some things... mainly moving out west. It's becoming more and more of a possibility for me. We'll see though...
Now it's time to get some rest and get ready to go back to the grind tomorrow. G'night world!

Have you SEEN this show?! OMG - I can't pull myself away from it... when I first decided to start watching it I had already missed about 12 episodes... thankfully, PeekVid had all of them and I stayed up ‘til like 3 in the morning watching them all. I've been hooked ever since. I mean, did you SEE when she walked out of the house all burned and charred, and as she was walking away her skin was healing??? How can you NOT love that!?!? Claire is by far my favorite. I can't wait 'til they have her jump out of plane or something and just walk away from it. The episodes always seem so short though. All of a sudden the show is over and I look up and an hour has gone by. Now, THAT'S a show!
It's Only a Paper Moon
What a week!! Since it started, I've been going non-stop... the Energizer Bunny has nothin' on me. Monday morning Mom was in a car accident and taken to the ER. I got the call from Mark around 2.30p and went straight there. We spent all day there until they decided to move her to Shock Trauma up in Baltimore. Drove up there and waited until 11.30p just to be told that she was still getting more x-rays and CAT scans done... so we left for home to return the next day. I got home around 12.30a and fell right into bed. Tuesday, after work I drove up to Baltimore and visited for a little while. Wednesday I took a break and stayed home to catch up on sleep and errands. Thursday I went up after work and visited until they transferred her to the rehab facility. Friday and today I came up to the rehab center to visit and keep her company. Saturday I had to rest - between all that and going out Thursday and Friday (probably not the best idea - but whatever) it was nice to relax and just do nothing. Mom's coming along very well though. She had multiple fractures in her pelvic bone and a lacerated spleen. They fixed the spleen and all that's left is to wait for her bones to mend and heal. Her PT is going great too. I'm very happy that she's recovering fast. Leave it to Mom - she's determined to get back to what she was doing before the accident.
As much as I am tired from driving up to the hospital, up to Baltimore, back from Baltimore, dealing with the traffic, and my own stress - my mom is doing great with her own exhaustion and stress and pain. She is very determined and I shouldn't be complaining in any way... at least not when she can hear me. 
I felt horrible yesterday when I told her I was staying home that night. I kept thinking to myself that here she was, laid up in the hospital/rehab, and I couldn't take the time out to come see her. She said it was ok and I'm here today... but I just felt like I should have come up. :-\
In any case, I'm glad she is in good spirits and am very thankful that she wasn't hurt any worse. Thank you all whose sent prayers and thoughts.
