Olive Oil?!

I want to go back to Philly!!! I had a blast this past weekend with Bill up in Philly. He was guest bartending at Pure during the Decadence party and invited me along. The party started at 11p, but we arrived in Philly around noon. Bill showed me around the city and we stopped in a lil place to have lunch where I think he knew just about everyone who was working there and who was dining. Everyone was asking if he was back; they sure do miss him there. I would too… Bill’s such a great guy to know. You just can’t have a bad time when you’re around him. I told him today that if he had left, I’d miss him like crazy too. So Bill, don’t leave! :)

After showing me a bit of the town, we decided 2pm was an appropriate time to start drinking. LOL. We had our first drink at Woody’s… where later that night I ran into Don which was a complete surprise… he cut his hair!!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! No wonder I didn’t recognize him! Anywho, we went to several bars around the area, Woody’s, 12th Air Command, and had a few drinks. He showed me South Street (basically like U street LOL) and a few other places around town. It was great to get away from Maryland and DC for the weekend with a friend.

The other bar we went to was Bump… which reminded me a lot of Halo, but better. I saw someone there that also looked familiar but didn’t know for sure if it was him or not until I got home and asked him. Sure enough, it was… I’m definitely kickin’ myself for that one… I wish I had gone over and said hi. Oh well… I hope to go back soon. I’m sure Bill wouldn’t object to going again. :)

Anyway, after about 12 hours of drinking and in total shock at the wild Philly boys at Pure, Bill and I crashed at his friend’s place. Woke up feeling sick, but it passed after I downed half a bottle of Pepto. HAHA. Didn’t get much sleep on the way home, but Bill passed out as soon as he sat down on the train. Got home around 2pm Sunday afternoon and couldn’t sleep when I got home so I chilled for a bit, and later that evening watched some tv, which I fell asleep to. All in all, an awesome weekend. I can’t wait to do it again! :)
