Some people have deeply held beliefs that homosexuality is a disease. I respect that. So I won’t be coming in today, I’m calling in queer.

Apples & OrangesI was down in the city yesterday morning and had brunch at Foodbar. It was such a beautiful day and it was really nice to get to relax and just watch people pass by. Of course, most of which were gay, this being a largely gay-oriented area and all. It made me smile that they didn’t look the same as each person or couple walked by. Everyone has a different attraction and it was nice to see that they walked down the street holding hands and smiling. Apples to Oranges. I love people-watching, makes me feel less lonely sometimes… to see other people living out their lives. Makes you realize that you’re not the only one who is single. I suppose I’m learning to accept being alone, in a way. I have a new roommate who I’ve yet to get to know and if I wasn’t so lazy and just fuckin’ around online all the time I’d probably find more things to do. Today it’s beautiful out and I’m inside writing this entry. Granted my car isn’t in the best shape, I really should get that looked at… poor girl. She’s holdin’ up pretty well… we’ll have been together 3, no wait, 4 years in a month or so. I need to take her in and get the radiator looked at. She’s been gettin’ hot flashes lately… I think she might be a bit menstral herself. :-P
