This is the second time that I’ve been on the metro heading home and have been “cruised” by a cute boy. I believe the first time was Tuesday when I caught this kid, who gave off a ‘punk’ vibe, staring at me several times while we were waiting for the train. I sat behind him and noticed him turn around to look at me and then again when he was getting off the metro. I had to smile. I’ve seen guys on the metro that were cute before, and could definitely tell they were ‘family;’ but this made me feel good. I was the subject of interest. I took this as a fluke and went back to relaxing on the ride home. I wouldn’t have really given it much thought, until today another guy, more around my age, did the same thing… except this time I had sat in an empty seat and he sat next to me. I may have crawled out of my shell of shyness… but I definitely haven’t left it behind. I kept to myself and enjoyed the ride next to the good-looking guy. When he got up to get off at his stop, I couldn’t help but watch him and met eyes several times as he left. Harmless admiration of another good-lookin’ guy. :-D I think I’ll sleep pretty well tonight.
