Just got back home from seein’ the doctor and she gave me my note back to work… but it’s for the 9th. I have to wait another week before I get to go back… that’s a month’s worth of pay I’ve missed. I’m just prayin’ I’ll be able to pay all my bills. Argh! Oh well… nothin’ I can do about it I suppose…
The second time I really go all out for cookin’ and it’s another success… no one got food poisoning. (nor have they ever) 
Went out to the “sto” last night along with a few other errands. Doctor still won’t give me a damn note to return to work… his “wait and see” approach is killing me financially… that’s why I have another appointment with a different doctor tomorrow, err, this morning at 10am. O:-) Anywho, yesterday was great. Went to the post office and then by work to speak with Yvonne, hopefully everything will be back to normal on Monday. After leaving work I drove down to Silver Spring and stopped by the Giant to pick up everything I needed. Did you know that spices are expensive?! Geez! They need to make individual use portions… like for $0.50. Oh well…
I bought stuff to make dessert as well, but somebody didn’t want any, so I just ate the ice cream. Good stuff. But all in all I was quite proud of myself, everything came out quite nicely. Other than that not much went on… woke up to a voicemail of my puppy whining, that was lovely. Well, I think I shall take my ass to bed… it’s already 1.30 and I have to be up for this doctor’s appointment. Hopefully I’ll have the house to myself so I can get some cleaning done. Hope everyone is sleeping well… g’night.
LMAO!!! It’s oh…. around 11.30 and I get this phone call from Jeff… “Chris, can you come let us into the apartment??” LMAO… they went out to ‘play in the snow’ and in doing so, forgot to take a key. HAHAHAHA. Sorry guys, but yes, this is HILARIOUS!!! Anywho…
Can’t wait for tomorrow night! I already have a recipe for what I’m going to make. Just hope it turns out well.
Where to start… plenty has been going on lately so I think I’ll just start at a random point and let y’all just figure it out. 
First off, I finally have my computer up and running smoothly again. I don’t even remember how I started to mess with it, but one thing let to another and here I am fuckin’ around with the partitions and screwin’ shit up. Then I just said ‘fuck it’ and wiped everything clean and started from scratch. Saved all my personal files and just said ‘bye bye’ to everything. Now, my partitions are the way I want them, and everything is running great. Especially since I now have DSL! WOOHOO! I downloaded like 2 hours worth of music within the first 10 minutes I had the service turned on. That in itself was a pain to get set-up. Verizon is sending me all this crap sayin’ that my line “qualifiies for DSL” and “you can fly on the web with DSL, call us now.” So I go online and click the lil icon that say’s “see if you qualify” and low and behold…. I don’t. So I call them up and the first thing they ask is “Do you know your line qualifies for DSL?” Long story short… I got DSL; and I’m pretty happy with it too.
And I’ve had plenty of time to play with that since I’ve been home sick. I had a sore throat for the longest time and was at work the one Friday and it was getting worse and I noticed that my glands were swollen, and pretty sore. So a friend I work with suggested that I just go down to the ER and get looked at, and maybe they can give me something… well… they did tests and an hour later I get the news… good news: not strep, bad news: mono. So needless to say I’ve been out of work since then, which is about two weeks now, and I still don’t have a note from a doctor sayin’ I can return to work.
Oh well, I am looking for a new job anyway. I thought I hit a really good lead recently. Another friend at work referred me to one of her friend’s who is very well connected. I sent him my resume and he told me to expect a phone call from several people that he forwarded my resume to. Well… we’re like a month later and no word. So yea, no hope there. A contact of mine works for Express and he said that he may be able to get me a position here in Columbia, as long as I don’t mind working with women’s clothes. Eh… yea, no. I really want to get into my field but they’re all looking for experience which I have none. So until then I suppose I’ll just have to keep looking while working this dead-end job. I’m hoping to move soon. I really want to get out of this house and down to maybe DC or right outside DC, but that’s probably not for another few months.
Let’s see, what else…. hmm… oh… yea, deleting the same 3 numbers over and over again is a pain. Verizon had to replace my phone because the software in it wasn’t able to be upgraded. So during the process of transferring my phone book to the new phone, it added 3 numbers to EVERY entry. So yea… had to delete those 3 numbers over and over and over and over again. Then I had to make the groups over so yea, a pain.
Bailey’s doin’ great… she’s finally taken a liking to her crate. Instead of barking, crying, and clawing at the thing, she’ll sleep in it now. No clue why the change of attitude, I’m just thankful! Which reminds me, we still haven’t gotten the papers from the AKC for her pedigree… but that’s not surprising. She wasn’t purchased from the most reputable people. They were definitely kinda shady… they had two ads out one of which said $400 and the other which said $500. They told my mother that they had only one girl left, but when I called they had “a bunch” of girls left, and when we finally got there they had 4 girls and 1 boy. And to top it all off, when we called which was a week or two before we actually went, they said they were 8 weeks old; when we got there, he said they were 8 weeks old. They had already sold some before we got there and when I got the paperwork for the Bill of Sale, it said her birthdate was 10/20/03, which meant they were selling them before they were 8 weeks, which is illegal. Anywho… I had already fallin in love with the pup so we got her anyway. She’s PLENTY healthy and very active, but SO cuddly.
Anywho… I’d better get goin’, dinner should be ready soon… yum… food…
Alrighty… after many pain-staking hours of learning and then editing code to make this journal conform to the rest of my site, it’s up and running. And now to update you all on the current events… still at the same dead-end job with no end in sight, still single, and still poor. Well… that should bring you up to speed.
Now it’s time for sleep considering it’s 3.20 am… I’ll write more later.

Yea I know… it’s been a while… but there’s been a lot goin’ on… so fasten your seatbelts, cuz it’s gonna be a bumpy ride…
Well lets see… first, did you know that dealing with someone who is tryin’ to commit suicide is extremely draining? Not only dealing with one, but how about two…. yea… tough… I know how hard it can be though, goin’ through that, I’ve been there… but I realized that nothing ever gets that bad. I got one of them to realize that, well, at least I think I got him to. I broke down on the phone pretty much yellin’ at him cuz the other was stressin’ me out, and the next day, poof, he was feeling 1000% better. So now I’ve got one left… it’s so hard… I feel like I’m not doin’ any good… I get to a point where I think things will change and then they just fall back to square one. :- Hopefully soon things will get better. Anywho…
What else, what else… OH.. LOL… Bryan just tried to get me to go to Atlantis and strip!!! LOL YEA RIGHT!! I mean, come on… I’m not ugly by any means, but still… I’m not really the strippin’ type. Even though I did consider it for a few minutes… I do need the money, but oh well… I’ll make my money the honest way. By private shows only 
hehe just kiddin… Ugh, work is becoming more and more of a hassle. I can’t stand this coffee shit anymore… I think I have a good chance though of gettin’ a new position elsewhere in the hospital… the IT department is considering a 6 month, paid, full time intern position which I would get. So hopefully that goes through, it’ll give me great experience in the real world. If that doesn’t work, there is a PCA position in the ER which I’m being considered for. So it seems that I’ve got a couple of options.
OH… That’s something there too… work… ok, seeing as how I’m in the lobby all day starting at 6 am (ugh), I see all of the day shift come in around 7. Well they have a security officer standing there checkin’ IDs. I swear, if one more person walks by that security officer sayin’ “It’s in my locker”, or “It’s in my car” and doesn’t stop.. oh shit.. all hell’s loose… people are so fuckin’ rude there… they don’t respect anyone, not even their own co-workers… all I know is that the next time I see one someone do that to the officer, I’m goin’ after them… “scuse me… I’m gonna need for you to walk your ass back to the front desk and get a pass”.. it’s not even that hard… they’d take less time gettin’ a pass then doin’ all that shit… that’s totally unacceptable. Anywho…
Let see… then there’s the people who see I’m reading a textbook from class and ask… “studyin’?” No bitch I’m not, I love to read textbook and highlight the good points! Geez! Then, OF COURSE they have to continue to ask.. what are you studyin’… none of your damn business… you didn’t come here do ask me what I’m studyin’… and if you did you’re a sad sad person. What the fuck do you want to drink bitch!? Some people… and of course… driving home tonight no one on the fuckin’ highway knows how to drive the speed limit. It’s really not that hard, and even if you can’t, do you reall need to be in the LEFT hand lane!! Shit people, it’s not that hard to understand… you pass on the left, therefore the left most hand lane should be passing everyone else… but noooooooo not in bum fucked up land… granny over in the right hand lane is passing everyone. Stupid people should be shot…. ANYWAY… Now that I’ve gotten all that off my chest I can get some sleep… everyone have a great week.
