Blessed Rest…

Wow… this past weekend was tough. After closing Friday and Saturday, I worked a double on Sunday and then opened yesterday morning. Needless to say I am extremely thankful for rest. Today I picked up my check and deposited my tips. The double on Sunday (Mother’s Day) was well worth it; with a few more weekends like that, I’ll be able to build up my savings again.

Let’s see, what else is new….. um…….. after dropping my classes this last semester, my mom brought up the option to go to a technical school and get my certifications. After thinking about it, it makes sense. This way I can get a job quicker and get experience, then I can go back to school and get my degree so that I can get a bit more on that check. I’m really lookin’ forward to this; I have yet to start any courses which pertain to my interest. Hopefully I’ll be starting that soon.

Well, one more day before I have to go back to work…
