I don’t even know why I go out there anymore… I drove out to the Eastern Shore again tonight to hang out with Krista and Kevin, but Kevin never showed. He had just gotten off work as I was leaving (at 1.30am). I’m so tired from the drive and sittin’ in the bar doin’ nothing that I think I’m just going to head to bed after I chat with Eric for a lil while.

After almost 6 hours of workin’ on the style sheets for this journal, it’s finally finished. I knew it was takin’ too long when I heard my parent’s alarm goin’ off on the other side of the house. Anywho, I got about 6 hours of sleep… that should do me for a lil bit.

I’m off work today, which is a great relief. I think I might be a workaholic, and then I end up burning myself out. Today is 3 months that I’ve worked at Friday’s and I’ve already established my position in the upper staff. I was writing the schedule for all the servers, but now I’m working on the Training Audit that we did so poorly on…. 53 out of 100… I’d say that’s pretty bad. Anyway, I still love the place… all my managers are very supportive of me advancing as far as I can. Each of them have given me really good advice as how I can get there too… granted the restaurant business isn’t where I want to be for my life-time career… but it will definitely hold me over for a while.

I was hoping to go out with someone last night, but they didn’t get home until late and had already eaten. I really hope this works out with her. She seems perfect. I’m really nervous for some reason. Maybe it’s just butterflies. Oh well… we’ll just take things one day at a time. Hope everyone is having a g’day at work HAHA…

Let’s see if I can actually keep one of these things updated. I’ve decided to start another journal… yes… another one… previous attempts never seemed to get updated quite often. Hopefully this one will. Plus it is easier to just type in here rather than creatin’ my own on my site. Right now I’m just goin’ through and editing the style sheets to match my site. The site, however, is still under construction. I just got Dreamweaver MX, and have been playin’ around with that for a lil bit. I should have something up in the next few days. Until next time…
